Teacher tutorial Wednesday

Hey, everyone! I’m very happy to introduce to you something very exciting – I am starting a series of technology teacher tutorials (quick ones, 5-10 mins) and I will be uploading them every Wednesday to my YouTube channel, click here to go and see it. It will mostly be digital technology tools that I use and like, made into a quick tutorial of how to use them for your classroom or computer lab.

I’ve wanted to start doing something similar for a long time, because I genuinely love helping other teachers. When I first started my teaching journey I was just thrown at it, completely unaware of anything. Nobody helped me or showed me stuff. I was a freshly graduated from university bachelor programmer that wanted to be a teacher but had absolutely nothing to do with the profession. Later I signed up for a postgraduate degree for a Technology teacher at the same university and a year later – I graduated that too and felt a bit better. And with the passing years of practicing the profession I started feeling more confident.

Obviously I do TpT. Yes, TpT is also helping other teachers, for sure, and I do spend a lot of time and effort on my products, but a YouTube video is free, unlike my TpT products. Any teacher can watch it and benefit from it, for FREE. In this way, I will make people’s lives easier and better (best feeling ever, I promise!).

So here I am, rehearsing, recording and editing (literally 2 days for 1 video, but I will get better I hope) technology teacher tutorials for my YouTube channel.

The first video is about a digital tool for picking a random student from your class with the website classtools.net. The first video will go up on 2 August (hehe, Wednesday) so stay tuned 🙂

I hope you’re into the idea as much as I am 🙂 Go watch the first video and have a great day!

Also, if you have any ideas about such tutorials, feel free to DM me on Instagram at “the_it_teacher_from_bulgaria” and send me whatever you have to offer or say. Thanks!
